Yellowfinn

We had a fantastic get together at Yellowfinn. Greg was bombarding us non-stop with the yummiest sushi. We always end up eating hundreds of dollars in sushi and pay about a dime for it. Greg's the bomb diggity. Sorry some of the pics are a little blurry. I turned my flash off. I have such a love/hate with that thing.

Captain Moonshine
Andy stopped in for a minute. So fun to have all the sibs together.
Les was probably just trying to get a hug. He's affection-resistant.
Don't you kinda want to slap those cheesy grin faces? They think they're so cute.

Tod was commenting on how much he liked Greg's captain's hat and Greg handed it over. It's now Tod's. It took a trip around the table.

Todd ended up drawing dozens of pictures for Zach & Cam. He drew an octopus for Cam, which was wearing glasses and a hat. It was rejected. Cam made him redraw it...

Always such a fun, lively crowd. Some of my very favorite people to hang out with. Let's do it again reeeal soon.

Polly

We've just returned from a trip to Utah for the funeral of my darling Grandma Polly. I will miss her and her smile, genuine love and concern for me, optimism, spunky attitude, cute chuckle. I'm so happy I got to spend time with her. I hope she's having a ball in heaven and that both of my Grandma's will sneak down from time to time to haunt me. :)

This was at Porter Park. Can't recall the occasion.

Hansel & Gretel

Our community puts on a play quarterly. Ana tried out for this one. It was her first foray into thespianism. Well, at least it was her first play. She's done a bunch of theater workshops. She was cast in a supporting role. Her part was written for a boy, but there weren't enough boys that tried out, so they made it into a female role. Her name was Fiona, but I like to call her FiAna. :)

She LOVED applying her stage makeup every night. She wanted this palette for Christmas. She has so much fun playing with it. She also loves watching makeup tutorials by Michelle Phan and replicating her techniques. It's one of her favorite past times.

Here she is lost in the woods by the Gingerbread Witch's house.

Both girls are auditioning for the next performance...Guys and Dolls. We'll find out what parts they get tomorrow. They're super excited.

Peddles with Toddels

Instead of reading what I have to say today, watch it instead.

Video journal of our adventures today:

And btw, the camera didn't capture the intense colors and beauty of the sunset. Just know it was rad.
