More summer

Our stake held a road show this year. To make a road show successful, it's best to keep speaking parts to a minimum. Ana, however, is a notable exception, since she's had plenty of time on a stage. She helped narrate the story, which was about a librarian trying to get her pupil (Ana) to get excited about life.

Interspersed with their conversation were quick vignettes of dances and skits. This was the Thriller dance. It stole the show. Seriously. Lily was only a couple weeks shy of being in YW, so they let her participate. She's the shrimp in the front.

We ended up in Utah for an unexpected visit. Had dinner with my dad, Kim and the girls at one of my favorite all time eateries...Ruth's Diner up Emigration Canyon. That charming Ruth's has an old telephone booth inside it.

Call me, maybe.

The purpose of the visit was to see Todd's mom, who's health isn't well. We did visit her, but she wasn't very awake/aware, so we went to Todd's dad's apartment to visit for a little bit. I think Todd's dad is adorable and we can all see what Todd is going to look like when he's an old dude. :)

Also, the girls spent some time in Idaho with my mom, who was girls camp director in her ward. She wanted my girls to join them at girls camp. They also attended camp in our ward. (They liked grandma's better)
