In
November I found bus tickets from LA to San Francisco for $1 each way.
ONE DOLLAR! So I went ahead and booked 4. The total with the booking
charge was $8.50. Not bad!
Here's Lily at Union Station in Los Angeles. She's pretty cute.

The Mega Bus, where we spent 8 hours of our existence.
The ride got a little boring, but with electronics it's hard to complain at that price!
Upon our arrival, Tod and I explored a bit on foot. The Palace of Fine Arts never disappoints.
More exploration on foot the next day. The Bay Bridge is off somewhere in the distance. I helped my girls know how to identify the famous bay bridges from one another. This is an important life skill.
This dude totally freaked out Ana with his crab. She thought it was a spider for a minute and nearly choked.
My bridge. <3
Lily and the Tod while we waited for the cable car to arrive.
Tod being Tod. <3 <3
We met up with some of our favorite El Segundians who moved to the Bay. The Masis fam!
In Rudy's car
Union Square at Christmas time.
Dinner and some tango at a greasy Mexican joint...
The next day we met up with film crews at The Marine Mammal Center in Marin County to do some shooting of a documentary we're part of. This creature was constructed of fishing net and various other things found in the ocean that harm marine life.
Family photo with an elephant seal.
AND THEN.... we got a private tour of Lucas Arts from Jeremy, the director of the documentary. It was pretty rad.
Lily...always pushing buttons.
The
facility is amazing. It's very mission style and George has one of the
world's largest collections of movie posters. It was quite impressive
being there.
Trying
to get a pic of the girls with ET when Ana spotted a fez, which is a
Doctor Who thing, which she freaks out about. Here's Ana freaking.
The Yoda Fountain
Tod opening the door with The Force.
Phone hackers
Back at the Palace of Fine Arts
Ana sees a Weeping Angel (Doctor Who)
Smartest foliage on earth to be growing at the perfect GGB look out!
Keith Haring goodness at Grace Cathedral
Megabussing it back to LA.
On the bus ride home I discovered what is now a favorite Christmas song. Christmas By The Bay by Tim Hockenberry. Thanks MegaBus for letting us create epic memories and enjoy the city I love so much! Just remembering fills me with such joy!!!
